St. Mary Magdalene's Fiesta by the Sea: Sat Jul 12

Missed a Mexican holiday this year? You are in luck!

Come celebrate a Fiesta by the Sea at St. Mary Magdalene Church on Saturday, July 12th from 10 am to 3 pm.

Fun for the whole family! Just what you would expect to find at an old-fashioned church fair. We've got it all -- fun, food and music. Lots of children's games, contests, and horse shoes. Not to mention our two guest donkeys.

And the food. Sit down and enjoy delicious enchiladas, cole slaw and dessert in Santa Maria's Cantina; take home some frozen meat pies or goodies from the Bake Table.

Want to eat while wandering around the fair? There are ice cream cones, hamburgers and hot dogs for dining on the go. Lots of books in the Buy the Book stall, real finds in the Treasure's from the Attic stall, a huge array of plants. Who knows what you will find at the Bottle stall. You will be amazed at the selection at the Silent Auction. New this year: home-made sombrero contest for adults and children.

Don't miss this wonderful, fun-filled family activity. You won't find this in the city -- only on Mayne Island.
