Celebrating the Arts: Fri Jun 30


Come celebrate Canada's 150th Birthday at this Visual Canada Day Weekend Arts & Multidisciplinary Event presented by the Southern Gulf Islands Arts Council. At the Mayne Island Agricultural Hall.

Opening night event: Friday, June 30, 7 - 10 pm. Art exhibition, live performances, refreshments. The art exhibition continues through the weekend: Saturday & Sunday, 10 am - 4 pm. Open to all Mayne Island artists. Presented by the Southern Gulf Islands Arts Council.

Seedlings Early Years Day Camp in July


Seedling Nature Day Camp 2017

Wondering what your preschool age child or grand-child might like to do this summer? Looking for new friends for your young visitor? There are still a few spots open for Seedling Nature Day Camp 2017, the GICEL* Early Years program here on Mayne Island. (*GICEL = the Gulf Islands Centre for Ecological Learning.)

Seedlings is a playful, nature~based social and creative program for young children ages three to five years of age. Excellent qualified staff and ECE specialist supervision.

Monday, July 17 - Friday, July 21
9 am - noon daily
